| Experience: | -I am a junior at IPFW where I am double majoring in interpersonal communication and media and public communication both requiring massive amounts of writing. I'm also minoring in journalism. I plan to use what I am learning in my education to pursue my dream of sports broadcasting. I am part of the honors program where I am afforded the opportunity for more challenging coursework. I have received many honors but most recently was named to the Dean's list.
-I scored a 1270 (out of 1600)on the old version of the SAT. -I want to tutor because I love learning and helping people further their understanding. It only makes sense that I should be sharing my knowledge with those that could benefit from it. I have tutuoring experience in algebra, music and writing. -I was a People to People Student Ambassador which gave me the opportunity to study in Europe. I also was granted the opportunity of a study abroad program at the University of Cambridge in England. Both were invaluable experiences in my education. -Last semester I worked as an intern for the Office of United State Senator Evan Bayh, where I was able to integrate everything I am learning at IPFW into a working environment. -I was the recipient of a 4th place scholarship in the Miss IPFW Pageant in 2007. |
| Hobbies: | Music and writing are two big passions of mine. I love singing, songwriting, composing, playing violin, listening to music, and concerts. I also enjoy reading, travel, playing poker, and playing and watching football...Go BEARS! |
